Road Trip!

Go ahead call me lazy. I'm really trying to make a good habit of blogging more often, I promise.
This weekend was awesome! Tractor Pull! Holiday World! Fathers Day!

Friday night we decided to go to the county fair. It was nice out and the boy really wanted to ride the rides. I think when it was done we had rode everything twice. We really wanted to watch the tractor pull, but Aaden was really wanting to ride so I took him up there once again. We came back down and of course he found "Uncle Hank," who isn't his uncle, or even related, but still the same he took Aaden up the hill and spent who knows how much on those piddly games that we agreed not to waste our money on. At the end of the night he came back down tired and arms full of stuffed animals!

We had been planning for a while to go to Holiday World, I checked the website and we got some coupons for $5 off. It was very hot and sunny out, but luckily they provided unlimited drinks for free, as well as free sunscreen. Their water park was quite impressive, and we also spent most of our time there. We ended up leaving the park at 7:30 that night and made the hour and half drive back to home sweet home. This morning on the news I learned that about 40 people were rushed to the hospital with breathing difficulties and skin irritation. The officials at holiday world stated that a pump had faulted, resulting in a release of chlorine and other chemicals around 6:30pm I began to panic that maybe we had been affected by this. We had none of the symptoms, however we were in that specific pool around that time. I figure that we had just gotten out when this occured. Shew!

Fathers day was spent at home, I was cleaning and preparing to put up my new curtains. Devin and Aaden were working on the digital antennae. We rode to town to make a few stops at Lowe's, Walmart, and the Flea Market. It was a wonderful weekend!
